Most people understand that the air around them is polluted to some degree. This is true if a person is outdoors or indoors. This is true if they live in the city or live in the country. Polluted air affects everyone whether they realize it or not. Many people take the air they breathe for granted. They don’t stop to think about how the air they are breathing affects them.
There have been several studies done that highlight some of the dangerous chemicals and products that are in the air. The studies show how polluted air can affect the human body. The more humans learn about air quality, the more they realize it is important to take steps to protect the air by investigating things like air emissions control.
If there is no air, life cannot exist. When there is polluted air, a person is condemned to living a life of disease and possibly an early death. Now that individuals and corporations understand the dangers of air pollution, there is greater interest in air emissions control. People are realizing that there is no excuse for them not to act.
No one, regardless of socioeconomic status, where they live, or how old they are, is immune to the effects of air pollution. It is reaching a point where it is being considered a health emergency. Heart disease and respiratory illnesses are on the rise. Much of this has been contributed to air pollution.
